Hello, your current location:Home> Maintenance and Precautions for Drying Oven
Maintenance and upkeep of the drying oven
1. The drying oven consumes a relatively large amount of current, so its power cords, knife switches, fuses, plugs, sockets, etc. should have sufficient capacity. The box shell should be properly grounded.
2. The items placed inside the box should not be too many or crowded. If the dried item is relatively moist, the exhaust window should be opened wider. When heating, the blower can be turned on to accelerate the discharge of water vapor outside the box. But don't let the blower run continuously for a long time, pay attention to taking appropriate breaks.
3. Items should not be placed on the cooling plate below the drying oven to avoid burning or damaging the items.
4. When performing high-temperature dry heat sterilization on glassware, it is necessary to wait for the temperature inside the box to decrease before opening the door to remove it, in order to prevent the glass from suddenly cooling and exploding.
5. It is strictly prohibited to put flammable, explosive, and volatile items into the box to avoid accidents.
6. If you need to observe items inside the constant temperature chamber, you can open the outer door and observe through the inner glass door. Do not open the door too many times to avoid affecting the constant temperature.
Precautions for drying oven
1. When starting up or using for a period of time, the error between the measured temperature in the workspace and the actual temperature should be rechecked, that is, the temperature control accuracy.
2. The outer shell of the drying oven should be well and effectively grounded.
3. Flammable, perishable, and explosive materials shall not be placed in the drying oven for drying.
4. When the temperature in the drying oven chamber approaches the set temperature, the heating indicator light flickers on and off repeatedly, which is a normal phenomenon. Generally, about 15 minutes after the measured temperature reaches the control temperature, the temperature inside the studio enters a constant temperature state.
5. When the newly set temperature is below 100 ℃, using a secondary heating method can prevent the phenomenon of temperature "overshoot".
6. When the drying oven is working, the fan switch should be turned on to operate it, otherwise there will be a large error between the temperature inside the oven and the measured temperature, which may also cause the motor or sensor to burn out.
7. After drying, turn off the power switch and air door, wait for the box to cool to room temperature, remove the dried items from the box, and dry the workshop.
8. The inside of the box should be kept clean regularly, and if not in use for a long time, a plastic dust cover should be put on and placed in a dry environment.
